On-Line Registration
REGISTER NOW FOR THE 2021 RUGBY SEASON
Return To Play (RTP): Registrations will commence after Rugby Ontario approves MICRS's RTP protocols. Stay tuned for an announcement of the date. Training will commence when Ontario's Stage 2 Opening comes into effect. The sessions will be weekly for 12 weeks starting on July 5 at Austin Drive from 6:30PM to 8:00PM. There will be 2 categories of membership available at this point: Jr. U14/U16 and Minor U8-U12. More categories will be added as needed, effective for Stage 3. Rugby will initially consist of flag and touch and group sizes will be restricted but will progress as protocols change.
Other Information: Registrants will receive a T-Shirt & socks. A "Bring a Friend" recruitment incentive of $25 will be available to previous registrants who introduce a new member (contact registrar after registrations are completed). A family discount of $25 will be available for each additional family member who is registered (contact registrar after registrations are completed). Coaches involved with these groups need to be registered as well. Registration dues for coaches will be reimbursed by the club.

Note: The total fee is made up of 3 components plus processing fees. See below for the total cost. Each component Rugby Canada, Rugby Ontario and the club fee have to be agreed to seperately during the registration process. ALL MEMBERS MUST REGISTER USING THE ON-LINE SYSTEM. Rugby Canada has selected Sports NGIN as the provider for on-line registration. As a result of the change, all members will need to create an account if they don't already have one. Your email must be verified before you are able to proceed with the registration process.
General Registration Information
Please follow the instructions below and apply to become a member of the Markham Irish Canadian Rugby Football Club. Though early registration is preferred, new players are welcome to join us at any point during the season.
All members, new and old, are required to use the On-line registration system. See above.
Dues must be paid in full and the registration completed before members are permitted to train or play.
NOTE: Coaches, referees, and therapists please see the registrar. Members need to complete the membership registration process in order for the club records to be updated accurately and for RO/RC legal and insurance privileges to apply.
PLEASE NOTE: Markham Rugby has adopted a no pay, no play policy. Registration with Rugby Ontario & Rugby Canada will not take place until player dues have been paid in full. The RO and RC fees cover registration fees, insurance, and rugby programs across Ontario and Canada. The club fee covers equipment costs, clubhouse costs, Fletcher's Fields dues, referee fees, physio fees, game jerseys, team registration fees and coaching expenses. Juniors also receive club socks and a T-shirt.
