Lucas Minovski finishing a full field try versus Oshawa IIs in Oshawa
The U14 team started off Oshawa's Alumni day by handing their U14 II's an 88-0 loss. Unfortunately it seems that the team should likely have been put into the Premiership rather than the Championship East this season given their performances so far but given our very low numbers, it was not likely we could have fielded enough players to remain competitive.
As it is, we tried to work on the things that need work on and did our best to show respect and good sportsmanship to Oshawa on their Alumni day.
Great performances across the board with electric ball distribution, solid and accurate kicking and tough defence. Player of the Match honours for Markham were earned by #2 Luke De Luca who stole almost all Oshawa's own ball and was perfect on our own.
Some Notable Mentions are Luke Avveduto, Eli Gosher and Brayden McGee with 3 tries each, Rhys Patterson with 5 successful conversions and Ethan Callaway with a perfect 4 for 4 conversion attempts.
