Markham Irish Canadians Rugby Alumni Day (SNAPD)

The Markham Irish Canadian Rugby Club hosted its annual Alumni Day with special recognition of past and present team accomplishments. Markham Irish Alumni Charity Williams, back from winning Bronze with the Canadian Women's Rugby 7s team in Rio Olympics 2016, visited with everyone and posed for all the cameras and selfies. The 10 year anniversary of the 2006 McCormick Cup win was celebrated again as was the the advancement of the women's team to the 2017 OWL play. The day was filled with many activities including two games played on the field, a barbeque, bake sale, kids craft table, rugby themed obstacle course, a rugby skills contest, Glama Gals manicures and 50/50 draw.
